POWDER PACK SUPREME mfg by THE SHOOT STRAIGHT COMPANY since 1989.

What do you do when the compressed muzzleload powder pellets and powder sticks that you're using don't shoot well in your muzzleloader? The unbelievable accuracy that you have read about just isn't there? Spend another $400 for a new muzzleloader or buy some more pellets, sticks and bullets and hope they work? I know. Sell it and take up basket weaving. Here's a better idea. Why not start or go back to using granular muzzleload powder with "Powder Pack Supreme"? Powder Pack Supreme, PPS, produces consistent ram-rod packing pressure for all shots. Consistent ram-rod packing presure is what produces EXCELLENT ACCURACY with muzzleloaders.

Most granular muzzleload powders produce easier powder ignition, more consistent and thorough powder burn, the same amount of power, much better accuracy and unlike compressed muzzleload powder pellets and powder sticks, granular muzzeload powder can be adjusted to whatever amount necessary for reducing muzzleloader bullet group size and it's also alot cheaper to shoot . Your muzzleload rifle will shoot 2 inch groups at 100 yards. The question is, how do we make it PRODUCE 2 inch groups at 100 yards? Here's how.

Ever wonder why some muzzleload shooters have tight bullet groups at 100 yards while other shooters don't? The reason is simple. Excellent muzzleload accuracy CANNOT be purchased or bought. It can only be produced. Let's look at what it takes and how easy it is to produce excellent muzzleload accuracy.

1. GOOD to excellent marksmanship skills. This is produced by shooting as much as possible.

2. CONSISTENT muzzleload ramrod packing pressure for all shots. This is produced by using Powder Pack Supreme. PPS contains, on the inside, a unique compression system that tells you when to STOP pushing down on the ramrod when compressing the load.

3. ADJUSTMENT of the muzzleload powder charge to what the sabotted bullet, patched round ball or other muzzleload projectile likes. This is produced by using granular muzzleload powder and a fully adjustable powder measure preferably with a sliding funnel top. Adjusting the muzzleload powder charge load and consistent ramrod packing pressure is the only way to change your muzzleload bullet group size.

4. CLEAN barrels shoot more accurately than dirty barrels especially when using muzzleload sabotted pistol and rifle bullets.

5. HOT and CONSISTENT muzzleload powder ignition. A Mag-Spark 209 shot shell primer adapter is highly recommended for use on side-hammer percussion muzzleload rifles.

Now you know the "Secret" to producing excellent accuracy with your muzzleloader. Denial of the above muzzleload accuracy basics is actually worse than not knowing the above muzzleload accuracy basics. Are you a Denier or a Doer? Order "PPS" today and see the INSTANT REDUCTION in your muzzleload bullet group size--- Guaranteed.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR MUZZLELOAD SHOOTERS?

I'll tell you what's next. It's the Kahnke Blackpowder Muzzleload Inline Pistol with a fast twist interchangeable 12 or 14 inch 45 or 50 cal. barrel topped with a 2X Leupold Handgun Scope. www.kahnkegunworks.net. I own and have hunted with this pistol for the last 18 years. I DO NOT consider myself an expert pistol shooter by any way, shape or form. This inline muzzleload pistol will produce 3 inch groups, using MMP Sabots and pistol bullets, at 100 yards while matching 44 Magnum center fire ballistics. Shooting this pistol at 50 yards is childs play. This is the most accurate and powerful inline muzzleload pistol I have ever fired. I always use a two handed grip and try to use some kind of rest when shooting this pistol. When deer hunting, my first shot is with my Kahnke pistol and my FAST second shot (if needed) is with my Kahnke Muzzleload Carbine. You DO NOT have to be an expert pistol shooter to successfully harvest deer with the Kahnke Muzzleload Handgun. You will be very surprised at just how accurate and easy it is to shoot. Give it a try.

Finally, for the best possible muzzleload accuracy, always use Powder Pack Supreme, PPS, when loading your muzzleload rifle or inline muzzleload pistol.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE NOVICE MUZZLELOAD SHOOTER.

Powder Pack Supreme,PPS, produces consistent muzzleload ram-rod packing pressure for all shots. It eliminates high and low shots resulting from inconsistent ramrod packing pressure due to human error and stabilizes bullet velocities due to its unique compression system. "PPS" was developed for packing granular muzzleload powder used with the modern in-line, side hammer and flintlock muzzleloading rifles. If you are serious about your muzzleload shooting, whether you're a hunter and/or target shooter, "PPS" saves you money, time and helps you produce the best possible accuracy from your muzzleloader. It is small, lightweight, easy to use, and does not have to be adjusted when changing load combinations. As always, PPS carries a money back satisfaction guarantee.

Ramrod Packing Pressure.

Muzzleload ramrod packing pressure creates power and bullet velocity but DOES NOT produce accuracy. Consistent muzzleload ramrod packing pressure with each shot, when using granular muzzleload powder, produces excellent accuracy with a muzzleloader. It's very common to have variations with muzzleload bullet velocities ranging from 95 fps to 250 fps or more between each shot with inconsistent (unequal) ramrod packing pressure. This difference in bullet velocity is what produces the low and high shots on the target. Powder Pack Supreme "PPS" reduces variations in velocity (fps) from muzzleload packing pressure with granular muzzleload powder to less than 10 fps for all shots. Shooting over a chronoghaph is the only way to know the exact velocity (fps) of any given muzzleload charge. Chronographs can be purchased for about $100.00 and will do an excellent job of letting the shooter know the velocity of each load. Once the velocity for a given load/bullet is known, we can go to the ballistics information to find its drop in inches at various distances. Relying on what a marketing rep, an unqualified sports writer or a sales person says about muzzleload bullet drop or velocity can be risky business-missed or wounded deer. "PPS" does not need to be adjusted or reset when changing granular muzzleload powder charge loads or sabot/bullet combinations. Once your 3 shot group is on the target at lets say 50 yards, move the target, if possible, out to 100 yards. The reason for shooting at 100 yards is because just about all combinations of muzzleload powder charge loads with sabotted pistol bullets or other muzzleload projectiles will shoot good at 25 and 50 yards. It seems that 100 yards is the magical distance for seeing if consistent ramrod packing pressure and the correct granular muzzleload powder charge for a sabot/bullet combination or non-sabotted bullets is working correctly. Consistent ramrod packing pressure does for muzzleload shooters what consistent string release does for archery shooters. Almost all archery shooters use a string release. Why? So they can get the same consistent arrow release for each shot. Consistent arrow release equals excellent accuracy for archery shooters. Consistent ramrod packing pressure with "PPS" equals excellent accuracy for muzzleload shooters.

Muzzleload Powder.

There are two different forms of muzzleload rifle powder: granular and compressed(pellets and sticks). Granular muzzleload rifle powder is much more versatile and adjustable than the pre-compressed powder pellets and pre-compressed powder sticks . The granular form is what most muzzleload rifle shooters use. Why? Because granular muzzleload rifle powder can be adjusted to just about any volume amount needed to reduce muzzleload bullet group size with any given saboted bullet or other muzzleload projectile. Consistent ramrod packing pressure and increasing or decreasing a muzzleload powder charge load is the only way to decrease the group size of that bullet on the target. Powder Pack Supreme,"PPS" produces consistent ramrod packing pressure for all shots by stablizing bullet velocities thus eliminating high and low shots on the target. Consistent ramrod packing pressure is extremely important for excellent accuracy because the difference between a tight consistent pack and a loose inconsistent one can vary the bullet's point of impact by up to seven inches or more at 100 yards.

There are several different brands of granular muzzleload rifle powder available to the shooter. Some ignite faster than others and some are cleaner burning than others. Granular muzzleload rifle powders produce different velocities (fps) than do the pre-compressed powder pellets and pre-compressed powder sticks. It's very important to understand that bullet velocity does not equal bullet accuracy. Who cares if the muzzleload projectile is moving out of the barrel at 2000 fps and it can't consistently produce at least a four inch group or less at 100 yards?

In order to fine tune a muzzleload powder charge to any given bullet, the powder charge has to be fully adjustable. Increasing or decreasing a muzzleload powder charge by ten, fifteen or even twenty grains may be needed to make the three shot group decrease in size. But, from then on, the load will probably need to be changed by much smaller amounts. A fully adjustable muzzleload powder measure with a sliding funnel top is another "Have To Have" accessory item for correctly measuring granular muzzleload powder charge loads. Sometimes a muzzleload rifle just doesn't like a particular bullet and will require the shooter to try a different projectile in order to get that 2 inch group at 100 yards.

The other form of muzzleload rifle powder is pre-compressed powder pellets and pre-compressed powder sticks. These produce a very limited number of powder charge combinations for reducing bullet group size which makes adjusting the powder charge load to the sabotted bullet, patched round ball or other muzzleload projectile much more difficult if not impossible. Limited muzzleload powder charge combinations with compressed powder pellets and sticks produce LIMITED ACCURACY. Also, pre-compressed powder pellets and pre-compressed powder sticks can be easily damaged or broken and when this happens, they should not be used because consistency is changed and ignition is altered which will probably cause changes to bullet placement, accuracy, on the target. Carring loose pre-compressed powder pellets and pre-compressed powder sticks in one's shirt or pants pocket is a guarenteed way to damage them. Powder Pack Supreme,"PPS", should not be used with pre-compressed muzzleload powder pellets or pre-compressed muzzleload powder sticks.

So why am I talking about all this stuff? Excellent muzzleload accuracy CANNOT be purchased or bought. It can only be produced. Powder Pack Supreme,"PPS", produces excellent muzzleload accuracy by eliminating the human error factor when packing the bullet/muzzleload powder chagre load. Also, to produce that extreme accuracy you hear about, one needs to be shooting with a relatively clean barrel and adjusting the granular muzzleload powder charge load to what the sabotted bullet, patched round ball, or other muzzleload projectile likes. Don't forget about good marksmanship and hot, consistent powder ignition. All this together is what produces those 2 inch or less muzzleload bullet groups at 100 yards. Powder Pack Supreme,"PPS", is for all muzzleload shooters using granular muzzleload powder that want the best possible accuracy from their muzzleloader.

Also, always follow safe muzzleloading procedures and do not exceed manufactures recommended maximum granular muzzleload powder charge/load limit.
